Rainy Day Activities

Trying to keep the kids amused on rainy days indoors can be hard, especially when you are busy around the house. Here are a few cheap and simple ideas which will create excitement and fun with items you already have in your home!

Monster finger puppets

Get creative and crafty with some pipe cleaners, pompoms, goggly eyes and glue. Simple glue the eyes to the pom pom creating a face for your monster, use pipe cleaners, glitter or whatever you can find around your home to make your puppet unique. Glue a pipe cleaner to the bottom of your monster and twist it around your finger, TahDah! Hours of make believe fun!

Lightbulb Zen Garden

Get involved with nature and recycle any old lightbulbs and turn them into handing unique decorations for your garden.

Simply fill with flowers, stones, shells or sand. All things you can come across in any garden. fill the bulbs with water and hang on string for best effect.
